Ron Lee Ward Jr. is an accomplished songwriter, producer, pianist, singer, and studio engineer whose sound seamlessly bridges gospel, jazz, and contemporary music. Raised in the DMV as the son of a minister, his musical foundation was formed in both church and classical training from an early age.

A graduate of Yorktown Business Institute, Ron serves as Minister of Music at Asbury Town Neck United Methodist Church. He is a voting member of the D.C. Chapter of the Grammy Nominating Committee and a member of ASCAP Publishing and Writers Association.

As a recording artist, Ron has released five Top 10 smooth jazz albums, with his single “What the World Needs Now” surpassing one million streams on Spotify. Now, he returns to his gospel roots with his most personal and powerful project yet.
